Rules & Reminders
How to Submit Reimbursements

Submit using the ZF Team Reimbursement Form, grouped by expense type — one submission for your total per diem, a separate one for local travel, and another for flights.
🎓
Professional development reimbursements must be submitted separately. Eurocrypt attendees (Alfredo, John, Arya, Marek): submit your Eurocrypt per diem, conference ticket, and transport as a separate reimbursement request from your regular trip expenses — do not combine them in the same form submission.
🧾
No receipts required for per diem or local travel. Claim up to the maximum allowed for each qualifying day — just submit the total.
🚌
Local travel is reimbursed separately and is not included in per diem — you can claim both. No receipts required.
✈️
Per diem can be claimed on travel days but cannot be claimed on TOIL days. Long-haul travelers taking TOIL on May 6 claim $0 per diem for that day.
🏨
Hotel breakfast is included in your room. The $36 breakfast per diem only applies on travel days when you won't be at the hotel (e.g., May 5 and May 15).
